Konnevesi Research Station belongs to the Department of Biological and Environmental Science at the University of Jyväskylä. Station offers a pleasant, scenic setting, as well as customer-oriented services on the shore of Lake Konnevesi.
All organizations, communities, and individuals can book accommodation, catering, and station facilities for a wide range of purposes. The biological research station provides a unique educational environment and comprehensive services for organizing courses, workshops, seminars, and other events.
The research station features an 80-seat lecture hall, a classroom for up to 25 people, study rooms, research facilities, and a cosy dining hall. The large and modern lakeside sauna Teerikukko offers an excellent setting for small meetings, recreation days, and summer celebrations.
Year-round accommodation is available for up to 66 guests in shared apartments with 2-4 bedrooms, as well as in two separate houses.
Room rates include bed linen, towel, and final cleaning. A reliable wireless network is available throughout the station.
